I am so proud of my kids. They worked their tails off to earn a trip to The Bear Mill. Our version of "Build-a-Bear". They wanted to go so badly and the cheap mother that I am didn't want to pay a rediculous amount of money for a dressed up stuffed animal. So, I made them a deal. We went and looked at what they had at the store and they decided what they wanted. We found out the prices and they decided they were going to earn the money. They were diligent and after weeks of finding chores around they house and helping grandma clean her office they each earned an amazing $45.oo each. WOW!! I was soo proud. Porter loved counting all the money so often that Rod got some coin rolls from the bank so we could keep track. We payed for the animals with mostly change and a few dollar bills. It was a great learning experience they sure are proud of the animals they got. Olivia chose a panda bear, named sharpay, in a chinese comono and Porter chose a turtle named Torty in a spiderman outfit.

You are my role model. You are such a good mom, and your kids are so good. AND VERY CUTE!!!
I'm proud that I get to call those cute kids my niece and nephew! That's awesome that they worked so hard and didn't give up! You guys are awesome parents!
Hope you had a great Christmas...and we need to see pics of your trip!!
What a good lesson for your kids to learn! They will probably love those toys even that much more since they had to work so hard for them.
AHhhh! I love it. Maybe Alex will be able to do that someday!
You are such a good mom to teach your kids a lesson like that. It probably took a lot of patience on your part to not just give in. your kids will deffinatly appreciate them a lot more.
